## What is the purpose of the change
Allow enabling `gzip` compression for metric/log/trace exporters. This is
especially relevant for metrics, which contain a lot of repeated attributes and
can be well compressed.
## Brief change log
Adds an `exporter.compression` config option (values: "gzip" or "none",
default "none") and wire it into all three OTel reporter types (metrics,
traces, events) for gRPC/HTTP protocols.
## Verifying this change
Unit/Integration tests. Tests are verifying that `end to end` reporting is
still working when `gzip` compression is enabled.
