I'm not sure the [hooks
documentation|https://github.com/apache/incubator-aurora/blob/master/docs/hooks.md]
is up to date with the v2 client changes. Particularly it mentions:
bq. All Aurora Command Line commands now accept an .aurora config file as an
optional parameter
which is not true for the v2 client.
