### Describe the enhancement requested "test-r-versions" uses Ubuntu 20.04 (focal) based images: https://github.com/apache/arrow/blob/3e6e8f3fc59777957334c90e02d7826fb27e2488/dev/tasks/r/github.linux.versions.yml#L39 It seems that there are Ubuntu 22.04 (jammy) and 24.04 (noble) based images: * https://hub.docker.com/r/rstudio/r-base/tags?name=jammy * https://hub.docker.com/r/rstudio/r-base/tags?name=noble Can we use Ubuntu 22.04 or 22.04 for "test-r-versions"?
