### What happened?
I attempted to install `adbcflightsql` and got the following error:
```r
> install.packages("adbcflightsql")

### How can we reproduce the bug?
Try to install `adbcflightsql`
### Environment/Setup
I've tested on an Ubuntu22 and a Fedora39 machine. I get the same error on
both. I haven't tested on a Windows or MAC.
