Make sure that the sensor can communicate on the correct port and there is nothing blocking the port.

Well i was configuring Siteprotector & Proventia G100 where i faced some problems as follows:- At the time of adding the Proventia Sensor in the Siteprotector it shows a message "No sensors could be automatically detected". This message is being displayed when I used the Add Sensor Wizard option after configuring the Proventia G100 appliance. In the first step of Add Sensor Wizard I gave the Proventia Appliance hostname. In the Second Step I selected the Event Collector, But in the 3rd Step when I click finish button it gives a message "No sensors could be automatically detected". I also selected the option of "Allow Siteprotector Access" in the Proventia G100 Appliance. Also in the Assets tab it shows the Proventia Appliance after going through the procedure but in the Sensors Tab it doesn't display the Proventia Sensor. Kindly help me by telling me the solution, also let me know the correct sequence of adding the sensor. Also let me know what is the exact mistake that I am making or if I am forgetting some step to configure. Regards, Jiger. _______________________________________________ ISSForum mailing list [email protected] TO UNSUBSCRIBE OR CHANGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, go to https://atla-mm1.iss.net/mailman/listinfo/issforum To contact the ISSForum Moderator, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The ISSForum mailing list is hosted and managed by Internet Security Systems, 6303 Barfield Road, Atlanta, Georgia, USA 30328.
