There seems to be some kind of bug with iommu and possibly xhci driver. I leave my computer unattended at night, disconnecting the ethernet connection. When I come back in the morning I can't access my storage devices connected via a 5 bay orico usb dock, reloading the xhci_pci and xhci_hcd modules allows me to access the storage again without rebooting but I then have to set up the usb networking again (dhcpcd etc). Curious that this seems to happen only when the computer is unattended, some kind of power saving issue with the dock ?
Sometimes when booting the devices also aren't detected and I have to switch the power to the drive bay off and back on.
Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus B550M Pro-P (B550M chipset)
Regards,
Will Trives
