Note: I took out support@ so it does not generate an extra ticket.
Second that.
The only question is, say, Cat4509 full of 48port cards. Do you want 200
charts - one per interface? I don't, plus I don't need to know what's going
on on those interfaces anyway most of the time.
I noticed that CPU history is collected anyway (even if you don't setup a
chart for it). Maybe it's a feature of the DB, because, I know that that was
not happening before (v4...).
Also, in case of CPU, I usually gather most important CPU counters on one
chart to save on screen space and for trend observation, etc...
I'd say, in the right click menu, it would be useful to have a "generate
charts" option and to have a sub-menu where one could select what to
generate:
I see something like:
Generate Charts --->|-All Counters (including all interfaces)
|-Routed Interfaces
|-Unnumbered Interfaces
|-CPU
|-Memory Usage (Used with Total set for upper limit)
|-Disk/Flash Usage (Used with Total set for upper limit)
That is what I can think of the top of my head. Or maybe analyze the probe
for 'chartable counters' and dump them into that submenu. That would be
nice.
PS. I hope my 'menu' keeps it's formatting properly.
