Hi Alexander, A similar issue is discussed on https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-120693. We have occasionally observed the issue when recording JPEG frames from USB camera, but we have not been able to trace this to any bugs in the Qt code. We suspect that the issue is that the JPEG stream from the USB camera is somehow corrupted.
Is the problem more likely to occur if the system is under high CPU load? Please feel free to comment on the QTBUG-120693 ticket if it is relevant to the issue you see.
