I can’t tell you exactly when I detected this but I think it has been since 
6.7.X, because before I was using 6.6.3

Do you know if this is something that could be easily fixed? 

Right now this is a show stopper for products that relies on this effects and 
are not replaceable by MultiEffect, eg: OpacityMask
