Thanks, I'll give that a shot. I think the bigger problem is that if you're used an email for evaluation there is no way to select the Open Source version, it just forces you into a commercial or no license scenario. There seeds to be a license selection screen with lawyer appoved verbiage tot he effect of "I chose o use Qt in accordance with the various OpenSource Licenses including GPL2-3, LGL 2-3. In addiytion the following modules are not available under any open source license: 1 ?? 2. ??? ... "
I can't e the only person who has previously evaluated before this whole sign-up process was made mandatory? > Sent: Monday, September 21, 2020 at 12:17 PM > From: "Giuseppe D'Angelo via Interest" <interest@qt-project.org> > To: interest@qt-project.org > Subject: Re: [Interest] Help with maintenance tool > > Il 21/09/20 17:19, Jason H ha scritto: > > How do I use the open source version? > > > > "No valid license available in your Qt Account for this host platform. > > Please renew your license(s) from Qt Account." > > > > How am I supposed to elect the open source version when there is no option > > at account.qt.io > > Can someone fix this for me? > > I literally fixed this by going back and forth in quick succession > inside the tool while clicking around (basically doing a "monkey test") > until it goes past that screen and you get to select if to add/remove or > uninstall. > > HTH, > -- > Giuseppe D'Angelo | giuseppe.dang...@kdab.com | Senior Software Engineer > KDAB (France) S.A.S., a KDAB Group company > Tel.
