You're not alone, but he has a right to his opinions, and people have a right to reply to him if they want to. Personally, I have a filter in place so I don't see his mails (and I seem to remember others doing the same), because I also think the signal/noise ratio is not worthwhile. I only hear about him when people reply to him.
