Robert,

I believe that windeployqt will only search for imports on qml files. You can
trick it by specifying a path that contains one or several qml files that
contains all the imports that you need.

We have a project with several QML directories, can windeployqt be fed several
--qmldir options ?
yes that's possible. Example from the Qt Creator readme: windeployqt -quick -qmldir share\qtcreator\welcomescreen -qmldir src\plugins\qmlprofiler bin\qtcreator.exe lib\qtcreator lib\qtcreator\plugins
