Yes, I downloaded the master. I checked and it includes those changes.
I don't have an issue building it with Qt5.8, it compiled fine. My
application just doesn't seem to see the plugins.

I have not, but there's a commit there saying "Fix build with Qt >= 5.8". Can
you check if you have it?
