So the same scanner with the same virus definitions reports the same file as clean and later as unclean? Maybe your clients machine is infected by something that windows defender doesn't recognize and - on first run - infects the .exe file with something windows defender does recognize? Or do you get these complaints from different customers? I don't know if this is still true, but a few years back, windows defender was the worst malware protection on the market BY FAR. It lost every test by huge margins (like 95-98% accuracy by competitors vs 60-80% by windows defender) so maybe they should change their malware protection in the first place? -- Viktor Engelmann Software Engineer The Qt Company GmbH Rudower Chaussee 13 D-12489 Berlin viktor.engelm...@qt.io +49 151 26784521 http://qt.io Geschäftsführer: Mika Pälsi, Juha Varelius, Mika Harjuaho Sitz der Gesellschaft: Berlin Registergericht: Amtsgericht Charlottenburg, HRB 144331 B _______________________________________________ Interest mailing list Interest@qt-project.org http://lists.qt-project.org/mailman/listinfo/interest
