It's been a while, but IIRC, if you allocate a canvas of 2x dimensions, then scale to 0.5, you'll get the sharpness you are looking for.
But I completely agree, it's been unfixed for far too long. I remember experiencing it on 5.4, but the bug references 5.2, ~2.5 years ago. I think 5.6 was supposed to fix it, it didn't.

I was wondering if there is already a way of not having pixelated canvas drawn on iOS. I was hoping Qt 5.7 would fix that. Is there any special thing I need to do?
