Then the documentation at http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/supported-platforms-and-configurations.html#qt-5-6 should probably be corrected, because it says that MSVC 2010 is supported. Additionally, it says Windows XP is still supported for deployment. In my experience, everything after 5.3 doesn't run on Windows XP, so this should probably be changed, too.
