We already have one, it's called QObject::connect.

Examples:
        connect(model, &QItemSelectionModel::currentChanged,
                otherModel, &QItemSelectionModel::setCurrentIndex);
        connect(screen, &QScreen::geometryChanged, widget, &QWidget::resize);
        connect(window, &QWindow::visibleChanged,
                otherwindow, [=](bool arg) { otherWindow->setVisible(!arg); });
