Months ago I sent this suggestion:

inlined symbols are needed so that language bindings can be invoked. I
participated in a discussionat [Development] Qt binaries with inlined functions
where we concludedit was unreasonable to include the inlines in the Qt binaries
themselves. However, there was a
suggestion at [Development] Qt binaries with inlined functions about making
inlines separate standard modules and include that in the installers. I would
like to hear your opinion
and your guides about my possible contribution of such a feature.
