I agree that simply using MSVC to build just iAccessible2 should do the job, 
but I would keep that as a last resort solution (i.e. if it ever turns out to 
be more than a missing header or so) since it's... ugly, as you said.

As far as I can see after a quick scan of the source, iAccessible2 doesn't seem 
to depend on any other parts of Qt, so in this case one might also just build 
it separately with MSVC and then provide the final .lib/.dll to Qt.

I've opened a problem report with Intel on this issue since, in case this is a 
general incompatibility between MSVC and icl, it might extend beyond 
Qt/iAccessible2 and potentially affect others trying to compile midl-generated 
code with icl. So I guess they might want to fix this :-).

I'll look into the problem again when I have time and keep you updated.
