On iOS you generate an xcode project (via qmake) which then is used inside Xcode. Hence, the deploy is totally demanded to the native mac environment. iOS apps are larger than Android ones (usually) but perfectly in line with the platform (something in between 20Mb and 30Mb, correct me if I'm wrong). As for Android, most of the applications I have seen/developed have a size around 10 Mb, depending on the dependencies. Exploiting Ministro you can surely reduce that size but consider that there are native apps on Play store which are way bigger than that size...
