There hasn't been any new work done on the widgets, besides general bugfixing. They've been in Done state for going on two years now. However, the low-level performance improvements done in QtCore and QtGui benefit desktop and widgets too. Base classes are more efficient, there are new features there (like the JSON parser, MIME type support, etc.), the QPA architecture helped clean up the whole GUI support, support for C++11 constructs, and so forth. -- Thiago Macieira - thiago.macieira (AT) intel.com Software Architect - Intel Open Source Technology Center
