All the speculations can stop. Looks like it was the missing SP1 in VS2010. Too stupid. I installed VS2010 about four weeks ago. Never thought that a fresh web install directly from MS would not contain all the latest patches. Sorry, I am still a little bit clumsy when Windows is involved.
