Both 32-bit and 64-bit binaries are included in the offline installer.
Please check the default paths below after installation.
- %HOMEPATH%\Qt5.0.0beta1\Desktop\Qt\5.0.0-beta1\msvc2010\bin\
- %HOMEPATH%\Qt5.0.0beta1\Desktop\Qt\5.0.0-beta1\msvc2010_64\bin\
I've installed it on Windows 8 64-bit system.
I guess the "x86" term labeled on the Windows installer confuses some of us.
Tested installer is qt-windows-opensource-5.0.0-beta1-x86-offline.exe (MD5: 
6177f2e1fb944022753ae25a7c23202d), taken from 
http://origin.releases.qt-project.org/qt5.0/beta1 page.
