If possible, it would be really great to fix this to 4.8.3.
Can someone fix this in the next two weeks? There are some other fixes for 10.8 already in and going to 4.8.3. I just downloaded and installed the latest Qt 4.8.2, and unfortunatelly it still does not work: same behaviour with those "timeouts" on OS X 10.8.
