You can install Xcode 3.2.6 on Lion. Make sure to turn back the date to 2011 before you start the installer, otherwise it will fail due to an expired certificate. Also, follow these instructions -- http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10052921/how-to-install-xcode-3-2-x-on-lion With Xcode 3.2.6 you will get the /Developer folder back. Xcode 3.2.6 can coexist with Xcode 4.3, and you can use 'sudo xcode-select -switch /Developer' or 'sudo xcode-select -switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer' to switch between them.
