And imo still good to cc: takashi and sound lists so they know I've picked them up. Now I need to dig out that other thread (which is somewhere) so I can confirm to Takashi that it has landed. A good rule of thumb is to assume that your maintainers have no idea what's going on, and that they'll forget within 5 minutes again.
