I don't necessarily think this is true. I think we need to understand
the nature of the filters first - I mean, are they considered a part of
Inkscape proper, or an addition that could be removed at some point or
changed?

If we do document them, I think we might consider just having a quick
description of what each does with a screenshot.

I just foresee this as becoming a lot of extra work when we're obviously
undermanned already. I hate being contentious, but we have to consider
the workload.

If we *do* indeed decide to document them in the manual, I believe it
would be best to finish .46 before we do that. Yes, we'll need to make
a concerted effort at finishing .46, but I would prefer not to have
several versions of a half-finished manual - one is enough.

It does bring up the point for discussion, however, that we could decide
to make a truncated, basic version of the .46 manual (like basically
what's there right now), call it finished, and move on to .47.

Any thoughts?

Desolee, Elisa, que ce message n'est pas plus facile de comprendre...le
langue est assez technical, et il est tres tard ici.

PS - Ivan, I think your work is excellent, and I'm very happy to see it
in Inkscape. Please don't take this as a personal assault - it's
certainly nothing of the sort. I'm simply questioning the prudence of
taking this on when we don't have the manpower to do what we're already
committed to.

I'd be very happy to have you document the filters in the manual,
though, if you're so inclined (and I'll definitely encourage you to do
so!!).
