Hi, I also think this could be a great partnership... and I also agree than contributing features is a good idea. For example, we've had lots of interest in supporting CMYK printing but lack the expertise and time to do it ourselves.
I would be very willing to head to India for a local hackfest. I've been to the northern-western parts of India twice but never to the east or south.
