Yes, seems possible but there is this warning on https://www.cyrusimap.org/imap/concepts/features/namespaces.html#imap-admin-namespaces-mode
WarningChanging altnamespace in an active operating environment will cause all IMAP clients to need to resync the entire hierarchy.
