Also curiously cryadm cannot delete user.test giving "Permission denied": # cyradm -u cyrus localhost Password: localhost> lm user.brad (\HasNoChildren) localhost> dm user.brad deletemailbox: Permission denied localhost> quit Something fishy here.
You have to give the cyrus user d rights to delete a mailbox. I use something like this from cyrusadm:
sam user.test cyrus lrswipdca <snip>
<<attachment: boutilpj.vcf>>
