I don't use unexpunge, due to the historical way our undelete feature was built to do its own tricky stuff. But I would certainly argue that human readable should be the default! I'm still working pretty solidly on the future stuff - but any old patches lying around should be slurped in to this effort as well. Certainly polishing the user interface is very important.
