Probably! That said, Mozilla Thunderbird checks the namespaces and gets: "INBOX", "shared", "" - and proceeds to list all three of them, hence doing a "stupidclients" thing too. It's a pity that LIST is so expensive in some cases. The alternative though is keeping a separate indexed database of "mailboxes I can see".
