Hi, all

I have some NFS lock problems.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

My customer's environment are as follows.

   SuSE Linux Kernel 2.6
The filesystem /var/lib/imap are under NetApp via NFS mounting.

I would like to stay /var/lib/imap at NetApp.
Because the cold-standby mail server take over /var/lib/imap when the
active mail server is failed.

I would like to avoid cyrus's NFS lock problems.
So, I will try to store some lock files of /var/lib/imap/socket at the
local filesystem.
But I can not yet do it.
Perhaps cyrus's source code of service.c has the hard-coded lock file
name of /var/lib/imap/socket/xxx-0.lock.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

Can I make a symbolic link of /var/lib/imap/socket ?

Best regards.

Kwi Kim
