Hi,

the quotawarn feature will not send an email, but will notify the imap client, so that the warning will popup. We have written a script that will send an email to the user if they have more than 60% of there quota and an final mail if they are over quota. The script uses the quota and deliver commands from cyrus.

But we hit the bug #2967 see https://bugzilla.andrew.cmu.edu/show_bug.cgi?id=2967

Quoting Philippe Trolliet <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

hi,
i´m using cyrus-imapd on fedora core 6. i want to send a mail to the user
whose quota is over "quotawarn:"-parameter in imapd.conf.
i always thought that the quotawarn parameter itself will enable such a
feature but no mail is sent.
how can i notify the user per mail if his quota is over "quotawarn"?

regards
philippe
