defer (110): Connection timed out

Hello,

in my exim logs I can see a lot of lines like
R=mailbox_cyrus T=mailbox_lmtp defer (110): Connection timed out

I have set a maximum of 30 concurrent deliveries using lmtp over tcp. 
What is the limit for lmtpd? How can I increase it? What else could have 
caused this message?
