Hello all,

I'm very green when it comes to email server setup, so please bear with me and thank you in advance for any help you could offer.

I've just set a cyrus 2.2.12 server with postfix running on FC4, trying to utilize "virtual domains". This was not easy! After wrestling with it for 3-4 days it seems to be working in some fashion. Unfortunately, in the course of setting it up, there were a couple of false starts, and some of our users have lost connection to folders they set up in their accounts and populated with saved emails from the old POP account.

For the initial set up, I set "partition-default: /home/imap" and began creating user mailboxes with "cm [EMAIL PROTECTED]". This created folders /home/imap/domain/o/ourdomain.com/a/a_userid etc..

However, this was not working somewhere in the conversation between postfix and cyrus and mail was not being delivered. I remade mailboxes using "cm user.userid" which created folders /home/imap/a/user/a_userid etc.. Mail is now flowing but the folders in /home/imap/domain/o/ourdomain.com are no longer accessible to the users in their email client.

The Question:
How do I move the folders in /home/imap/domain/o/ourdomain.com/a/a_userid... to the mailboxes in /home/imap/a/user/a_userid and make them usable to the folks who really own them?

Thanks again!
