I am pleased to announce the release of Cyrus IMAPd 2.3.1 as Invoca RPM
designed for RedHat/Fedora Core based distributions. The RPM builds on
everything from RedHat 6.2 to RHEL4 and Fedora Core 1 to 4. The package is
designed to allow simple upgrades from any previous Invoca Cyrus IMAPd RPM
release, however, I have only tested this with upgrades from recent 2.2
versions. As always, make sure you have a BACKUP of all your Cyrus IMAPd
related data before upgrading via 'rpm -Fvh *.rpm'.

The package tries to include all the new features of Cyrus IMAPd 2.3. Here
is a list of the most important changes to the build and packaging
process:

- integrate subpackages murder and nntp into main package
- fix requirements for the main package and subpackage utils
- add openldap-devel to buildprereq, build with ldap support
only if openldap is linked against SASLv2
- update cvt_cyrusdb_all script, handling all databases
  except quota
- add new services to /etc/services
- add snmp support as build time option, disabled by default
- update to official autocreate and autosievefolder patches
- enable flushseenstate by default, this makes it work the
same way like the 2.2 rpm
- completely avoid usage of Berkeley DB by changing the
defaults for duplicate_db and tlscache_db to skiplist

As always, you can get the source rpm in the usual place:

Feedback is always welcome here or via my private Invoca email address.

Enjoy,
Simon
