As you expected I'm working on 2.3 RPMs for quite some time now. It took some time to explore all the new features and adopt the build and packaging process accordingly. The packages will also include updated patches like the widely used autocreate patches. I hope to have a first release candidate ready later this week. I realize that a number of people are waiting for the RPMs. Because the Cyrus IMAPd code, the additional patches and also the RPMs include some deep changes, everybody involved with Cyrus IMAPd development will be thankfull for testing and feedback once the RPMs are out.
I've gone ahead and installed from tgz in the mean time as to not let it slow me down. But what I'm missing is the cool stuff like the auto patches and what not. I'm looking forward to seeing your 2.3.x RPMs, thanks for the work!
