file which points to sendmail binary so that was'nt the problem. I

errors in my maillog . the 'cyrus' user was trying to write to

(with cyrus member of smmsp)

This sounds wrong. Is your sendmail binary SetGID to "smmsp"? Sounds
like it isn't.
