Hello All,
I am new to Cyrus IMAP, I have used cyradm utility to create a
mailbox using createmailbox command, on doing lm I see the mailbox
that I created.
But now when I send an email to the specific account I get this error
in the logs
NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[***.**.***.**]: 450
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in
local recipient table; from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
to=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> proto=ESMTP helo=<somedomain.com>
This is not a cyrus issue. The above error is from your MTA (looks like
postfix) so you need to get docs on configuring your MTA to accept mail
for your new domain and also configure it to deliver to cyrus. If you
using postfix, Orielly has a great book called Postfix - the definitive
guide which is what I used to get it running with cyrus. Probably lots
of docs can be googled for as well.
