In addition to what was said regarding the cron job, you can add
something like this to your cyrus.conf in the events{} block:
# Create SQUAT indexes for mailboxes
squatter cmd="squatter -vs" period=1440
Period will be how often you want to run it (in minutes). In this
case, it's set for one day.
