I'm trying to setup cyrus by following the tutorial at http://www.linuxworld.com/story/32735.htm, I am using pam_ldap authentication.
When I start cyradm on localhost, it prompts me for a password, I've tried several different username/password sets that should work.
On every attempt, I get the following message.
application-specific initalization failed: authentication failed
Does anybody have any idea what I should look for?
I don't use LDAP, but maybe I have some tips:
-Normally you use the user "cyrus" for cyradm. As root you do: cyradm -u cyrus localhost
-The user cyrus should be a normal unix-user, with password. Cyradm will ask for this password.
