Hello,

What would be the best way to authenticate Cyrus users on a Novell E-directory server? Novell E-directory can do LDAP with encryption.

Is this the best way?
Cyrus -> saslauthd -> PAM -> PAM LDAP plugin -> Novell

Yes, what you say works. I have been using that for quite some time now. The only I would recommend is to use Novell's eDirectory 8.7.1 or higher, one that is capable of TLS.
