This is not saying much. Can you attach a debugger (gdb) to the imapd process or you should be able to analyze core. We may be able to get a better idea of what is going on from the debugger backtrace.

I thought his original problem was "no core". If still true, do you have a resource limit on coredumpsize in whatever starts master?


I suppose we could set up master to be able to override it, but, ew. Really, we have no business doing that.
