I'm planning a migration form Courier IMAP server (Maildir) to Cyrus
imapd, and I'm interested in knowing what tools/routes are available to
ease the transition before I consider scripting. I'd appreciate any
input that I could get on this matter.

Thanks!

Courier may have added an extra tag line to the emails. It is usually the very first line of the email file. The
email will start with a "From " and not a "From: " line. When you try to move the email
messages from courier to Cyrus you will get an error on those messages and Tyrus will not accept them. Deleting the
"From " line in the email does not seem to bother either courier or Tyrus.

Off the top of my head there are many tools convert from one to the other once you remove the
"From " line. I think most of them require you to know the password on the account(s).
