hi, i whant to use cyrus 2.1.15 and web-cyradm 0.5.4.1 on my debian woody.
in the first step i installed cyrus with sasl2 auth and it worked fine. than i decided to use web-cyradm and in this case it is - i hope i understood it right - necessarry to use the pam_mysql auth to authenticate the admin-users and the 'normal' mail-users, who don't have a local account on the system. my problem is, that i don't get cyrus to work with pam using the mysql-db - although i googled quite a lot. when i try to login with cyradm i get the error message: 'Segmentation fault'. for configuration of my imapd.conf i used: http://www.dmzs.com/~dmz/projects/cyrus/ this is my imapd.conf: sasl_pwcheck_method: auxprop sasl_auxprop_plugin: mysql sasl_auto_transition: no sasl_mysql_hostnames: localhost sasl_mysql_user: xxxx sasl_mysql_passwd: xxxx sasl_mysql_database: xxxx sasl_mysql_statement: select password from accountuser where username = '%u' sasl_mysql_verbose: true this my auth.log: Oct 12 22:00:25 tfweb cyrus/imapd[19780]: OTP unavailable because can't read/write key database /etc/opiekeys: No such file o$ Oct 12 22:00:25 tfweb cyrus/imapd[19780]: DIGEST-MD5 server step 1 Oct 12 22:00:25 tfweb perl: DIGEST-MD5 client step 2 Oct 12 22:00:30 tfweb cyrus/imapd[19780]: DIGEST-MD5 server step 2 Oct 12 22:00:30 tfweb cyrus/imapd[19780]: could not find auxprop plugin, was searching for 'mysql' Oct 12 22:00:30 tfweb cyrus/imapd[19780]: could not find auxprop plugin, was searching for 'mysql' Oct 12 22:00:30 tfweb cyrus/imapd[19780]: no secret in database Oct 12 22:00:33 tfweb perl: NTLM client step 1 Oct 12 22:00:33 tfweb cyrus/imapd[19780]: NTLM server step 1 Oct 12 22:00:33 tfweb perl: NTLM client step 2 t.i.a. rolf suennen --- Cyrus Home Page: http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus Cyrus Wiki/FAQ: http://cyruswiki.andrew.cmu.edu List Archives/Info: http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus/mailing-list.html
