Sieve filtering is done by Cyrus' lmtpd daemon, IIRR. Every time I've had a script fail, it's been due to people moving mailboxes, so the script action can't be taken, or due to people who hand edit their scripts (mostly me) sticking a typo in them and borking the parser...
