You are not mistaken, however BDB will provide the best performance for random access databases like deliver.db and tls_sessions.db.
Do you have an idea how big the difference is? Or, do I risk to run into big problems switching an already quite busy server to skiplist?
I have no idea. I don't think any explicit performance testing has been done.
