I found the answer. In summary I need to make two changes on the postfix side and one on the cyrus side.
In /etc/postfix/main.cf change mailbox_transport = cyrus virtual_transport = cyrus to mailbox_transport = lmtp:unix:/var/spool/postfix/public/lmtp virtual_transport = lmtp:unix:/var/spool/postfix/public/lmtp In /etc/cyrus.conf change lmtpunix cmd="lmtpd" listen="/var/lib/imap/socket/lmtp" prefork=0 to lmtpunix cmd="lmtpd" listen="/var/spool/postfix/public/lmtp" prefork=0 Hope this helps, Michael On Tue, 2004-07-27 at 12:06, Michael Hieb wrote: > Apologies if this has been posted separately, but I scanned the archives > and found passing mention of the problem but not the answer. > > I run Postfix 2.0.19 and cyrus imap 2.2.3 on a Suse 9.1 distribution > using kernel 2.6.5-7.95.
