Before the Aggregator support, splitting a userbase between servers was very difficult if you had any shared mailboxes. Now that there is the aggregator support , it can be done,it just takes atleast 3 machines [atleast in the current version] instead of 2 (2 backends, 1 proxy w/mupdate master).


If you don't care about shared namespaces, then its just a user management issue.
